$150.000 will be split, through the Black Lives Matter Artist Grant Program, among 60 creatives producing artwork reflecting on social issues related to the fight against systemic racism and the pursuit of social justice. The Jordan Schnitzer Foundation, through its museums at Portland State University, Washington State University, and The University of Oregon will provide this financial encouragement since “We, more than ever, need artists to help us understand this issue and help us heal.¨
